In Honor of the Brave Women

The Right To Be Heard

 womanwhitehorse1

We’d like to take this time to honor the brave women who stood up to be counted, and who fought for the rights of all women–not just in our country, but in many countries. Most people do not know that women in America who fought for our right to vote were not only ridiculed and ostracized, but were also repeatedly imprisoned and even tortured. We honor their courage, and the courage of the men who were brave enough to support them.

We are grateful for the courage of women and men in all countries all over the world today who show the same kind of courage as they stand up for what is right. Surely, legions of Angels are with you, and you are Blessed.

“Give her the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.”  Proverbs 31:13

“We shall someday be heeded, and when we shall have our amendment to the Constitution of the United States, everybody will think it was always so, just exactly as many young people believe that all the privileges, all the freedoms, all the enjoyments which women now possess always were hers.

“They have no idea of how every single inch of ground that she stands upon today has been gained by the hard work of some little handful of women in the past.”

Susan B. Anthony, February 15, 1894

Truth, and the Straight and Narrow Path

by Honesty Rivers

What does it mean, when they say the path to enlightenment is “straight and narrow”?

Sometimes it’s easier to understand something when one looks at the opposite. In this case: a twisting and wide path, which would probably be a fair description of the paths most people travel. What makes that so? Temptations, distractions, ego, people telling us to do one thing, and then another…and another…for “our own good”…while we quietly subdue the promptings in our own Hearts.

How did the world become a “rat race”? Why do so many people identify with that poor little rat, running round and round on the circular wheel and getting no where? How did it come to this?!

I read that, in a recent survey, 91% of the respondents admitted they lie on a regular basis. Most of them say they are “little white lies” so “there is little harm.” Yet where do the “little” lies end, and the “bigger” lies begin?

What do these statistics say about how much we can trust others, or depend upon them? Or ourselves? What has happened to the timeless values of veracity, honor, and integrity?

Usually, when we are young, it is natural for us to tell the truth, as we understand it. Then we encounter shock, and even resentment, for our honesty. Eventually, most people start telling “little white lies”  just to get along. And some people take it much further than that.

And then, you know what happens? The lies create a fog of confusion. People lose themselves, and they lose their own Self-Respect.

This is not an easy world to live in. Entrapments and pretenders are everywhere. And most of them pretend to know what’s best for you. Many of them are in positions of authority, or pretend to be friends. As long as you stay “in the fold” you might feel safe, but you will never feel free. To live an imitation of someone else’s vision is just another trap.

Only you know what’s right for you…yet you only know this when you are being honest with yourself and your world.

Sometimes we have to get “off track” to understand what others go through, as a lesson in Compassion. But we don’t have to stay there. We don’t have to stay lost. Please don’t beat yourself up for getting off track, no matter how long you have been there. You’ve probably learned a lot in the process. They are good lessons that have helped make you wiser. It’s never too late to get back on track. It’s a choice we each make. And we can make it now.

In fact, each day we make The Choice. It takes Courage to choose Truth. And some days we do better than others. And we always learn a lot in the process. Often, we teach others a lot, too, without even realizing it.

One Thing Is Certain

One thing is certain: The straight and narrow path depends on Truth. Perhaps one of the greatest lessons for all of us is to learn to discern the True from the False. This is not an easy lesson for many reasons, two of which are: 1) what is true, and right, for one person may not be true for another, and 2) there is much deception in this world which is both tolerated and condoned.

However your Truth looks, at this particular time in your life, I believe there are universal aspects to Real Truth.

What Truth is not: It is not controlling, blaming, or judging. (Many people are confused about the difference between being judgmental and having discernment. They are vastly different, and it is imperative to learn discernment if you want to live a healthy life.)

What the Spirit of Truth is: It guides. It is loving, it is kind. It frees you! And it must be found in, or resonate with, your own Heart. If you can honor it there, and value your OWN expression of Truth that is your birthright, you will find that your path becomes more clear for you. It will become straighter.

At first, your path may also become narrower, as far as worldly affairs are concerned. Because you are beginning to discern what is Real and what is Worthy…for You. And only those who are in a similar place–willing to put Truth above lies and pretense–will understand you. The others will fall away. You simply won’t be in harmony with them anymore. This “falling away” time may be a lonely time, for a while. But it is well worth it.

Once you find your True Path, your True Work, and purpose for being on this Earth, you will begin to attract those who resonate with what you have to say. And you will, at last, feel right with your world.

I feel I must add that it is possible to be both honest and kind. Gandhi was a good role model for this, as was Jesus. Truth without compassion is not an honorable use of this virtue. Like everything else, even Truth can be used as a weapon in the hands of those who are thoughtless, or have ill intent. The motives for what we do determine the type of energy, and the type of world, we create.

Believing in the Dreams of Your Heart

by Inspiration Publications

Many of us have worked with affirmations and intentional living, yet have received less than grand results. There are several reasons this may be happening. In this article, we would like to address one of them: our own Conscience.

For the most part, the Conscience is a wonderful tool for guidance. However, if we have erroneous beliefs, or haven’t been able to see a bigger picture, it can limit us.

Consequently, we may believe that we are not being honest when we say we already have something, or we already are a certain way, when we cannot yet see it with our physical eyes. Yet all the books on affirmations and manifesting tell us to speak and visualize our Good happening NOW. This sense of “not being honest with ourselves” can sabotage all of our efforts and keep us out of alignment with our own Good.

With a little additional understanding, we can be freed from a limiting perspective that has served to keep us in bondage.

Most of you have heard or read that we are all, as spiritual beings, multidimensional. Yet, many of us do not quite understand what this means. We have also heard that the only real time is NOW, and that it’s nearly impossible to manifest a better life if we don’t believe we already possess the desired outcome…right NOW. For, as long as we believe our good belongs to tomorrow, it will stay in tomorrow. And, as we know …”tomorrow never comes!”

How do we understand these things, when all of our lives we have been taught to ignore our own instincts, and anything we cannot see with the five senses? When most of us have been taught to give our power away, so that we don’t makes waves in the existing status quo?

I’m going to make the assumption that most of you reading this article understand the terms I’ve discussed above, but you may be having trouble making sense of how it all works. From this premise, let’s continue.

Moving Outside the Box

If we can move outside the limited box of “sense” thinking, we can discover miracles. Yes, Real Miracles!

The first miracle is: We can create our own future, and believe it in. How? Because, by intentional living, we are actually bilocating. This means, we are living in the future, and prepaving our future, as well as living in present time. We do this in the Realm of our Imagi-Nation, which has been called by mystics and philosophers “The Greatest Nation on Earth.” Even Einstein revered the Imagination above Knowledge.

“Imagination is more important than knowledge.” — Albert Einstein

Most of us have certain dreams and desires that we’ve had all of our lives. Too many of us have given up on those dreams because we saw no way to bring them to pass. Those dreams are actually contracts with your Higher Self, saying, “This is possible for you. I have placed this dream in your Heart because you CAN have it. When you have faith that it is possible, you will attract it to you.”

“According to your faith, be it unto you.” — The Bible

By intentional living, and prepaving the future, you activate the potential reality that is already yours. The physical world you live in today is just a manifestation of many possible worlds that can be activated, and manifested in the physical. Through the power of thought and feelings (Mind and Heart) working together, you activate and bring this world to you. It already exists on the unmanifested planes. You are the one who brings it forth.

Do you see how this understanding can free you? For, on the unmanifested planes, the realm of Spirit (which the Imagination accesses), these events and experiences ARE already true. Think about it: All things begin as a “dream” and are subsequently brought into manifestation on the physical plane. This is the process of All Creation.

Do you see what power you have? Two of the greatest powers you possess are the ability to focus, and ability to Believe. When you do these two things, Spirit does the rest.

Just KNOW, that when you use the power of your IMAGINATION, you are bilocating. You are proactively co-creating your life with Spirit and your Higher Self. The more real you make it in your IMAGINATION, the more you are drawing it to you in physical manifestation. It ALREADY exists on the unmanifested planes–it existed from the first moment you dreamed it with passion in your Heart. For your major dreams, this occurred before your physical birth. Now, with the understanding of your own ability to bilocate, you can believe in it, you can believe that it is real, and you are being honest by believing in its reality. This will draw your New Life to you much faster.

What you focus on, expands. What you focus on with belief and passion, manifests quickly. You don’t have to figure out how it will manifest. That’s the job of your own God presence. In the Real, the answers and solutions to everything already exists. Activate them by seeing the feat accomplished happily and easily. Then allow it to come into your physical reality through both expected and unexpected means, including inspirations, guided action, and “chance” meetings.

Let them come.

Helpful Tip:  When you feel happy or at peace, then you are in alignment with your own Good, and you are creating positively. When you don’t feel good about something, you are not in alignment, and you are creating negatively. This is part of the emotional guidance system that keeps us on track in life. Abraham-Hicks discusses this in detail, and we highly recommend their books.

About Relationships

Also, many of you already know this, but it bears repetition: If you are seeking a True Love relationship, it is unwise to imagine yourself with a particular person. It is much better to see yourself with someone who has the qualities you desire, and then allow the Universe to bring that person into your experience. Most of the time, it will not be the one you think it should be. Just seeing the person of your dreams as a beautiful energy being, instead of a physical form, might work for many of you. Intentional living should bring joy to all involved, and should not override anyone’s free will.

“This, or Better…for the Good of All…”

It is wise, when you set intentions, to say something to this effect: “This, or better, Mother-Father God,  for the good of all involved. Thy will be done.” When you say this, remember that God is on your side, and wants you to be happy!

Tip:  Just as you can prepave your own future, you can help prepave the future of our  world here on this beautiful Earth. Any effort you put into this Great Cause will be powerful and is much needed by this Earth and those who live here, especially during this time and the next 4 years as we approach the end of 2012 when many powerful alignments take place.

You can make a great difference for our planet. To read how, see this article: I See You With Believing Eyes .

Many Blessings and Happy Manifesting!

Is personal happiness the most important thing in life?

Billy C asked:

I believe this should be everyone’s first priority in life.

Social contribution, having children, getting married - these are all great things, but they should not come at the expense of your personal fulfillment in life.

I challenge you to come up with something more important than happiness.

How do you find meaning and happiness without having faith in a higher power?

Billy C asked:

As an atheist, I have a hard time finding meaning and happiness in my life. How do you enjoy your life when you believe nothing you do has any higher purpose?
